The Excelling Life
Source Foundation is a Texas Tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization. The
organization receives bequests, legacies, devices, transfers, donations or
gifts to which a tax deductible receipt is issued to the donor.
Mission statement:
To work with communities, local, national and international to improve
their social economic conditions through the provision of quality medical
and educational services.
Goals and Objectives:
-To provide basic technology training including email, internet, word,
excel--services that are truly transformative in terms of making
opportunities available for young people in particular especially those
from underserved communities.
-Basic health care services including supplying first aid supplies, water
purification, AIDS and birth control information including provision of
condoms and other supplies--these services are again very important
underserved communities where the type of family planning is taken for
granted in fully serviced communities.
-Assistance in helping underserved communities particularly women, in
starting small businesses, including the provision of micro-loans.
-Providing a meeting place for not only assistance in technology and
health-care matters, but general counseling--again providing a place where
people can learn and share skills is very important.
The micro-loan program in particular is a transformational program as even
very small amounts of money can empower people. especially women, to break
the cycle of poverty that can so often lead to prostitution, and
ultimately to HIV/AIDS.
